Endodontics, or "Root Canals" and race tracks might not seem like a likely pairing, but they actually have a lot in common. It takes absolute control to maneuver a race car into hairpin turns at high speeds....and it requires the highest level of skill and hand/eye coordination to perform dental and surgical procedures. In either case, you need a consummate professional in control. Earning her amateur racing license in 2001 driving a Dodge Viper, Deborah Loth has since earned multiple podium finishes and several championships. In 2006 she made the jump to the professional ranks in the inaugural season of the SCCA Pro Racing MX-5 Cup. She quickly gained the attention of her piers in the all male series, finishing the series with 5 top 10 finishes and 5th in overall points. Now, with a year of SCCA Pro Racing under her belt, Loth is looking forward to the tremendously competitive field in the MX-5 Cup. The depth of the field continues to grow, and should make for some great viewing when the races are broadcast on television later in the season.
